About Artrahmen
Anyone who visits us in our shop immediately feels: This is a family business working with passion, experience and precision. On around 150 square meters, handmade frames are created every day, manufactured with the aim of individually showcasing every work of art and at the same time offering frames for every budget. Since its foundation in 1997, Artrahmen in Berlin-Schöneberg has stood for quality craftsmanship, personal advice and genuine Berlin craftsmanship.
Jana von der Beck Custódio now manages the company in the second generation – together with her husband, who has been responsible for frame construction and framing since 2012. The owner takes care of the advice in the store with a lot of empathy. For her, every conversation with customers is a creative process: “I have to find out what the picture is telling – and how we can reinforce this expression with the right frame. Ultimately, it’s about making the customer happy.” Room, light and budget play just as much a role as style and material.
The story of Artrahmen and its owner was also presented in the Berliner Morgenpost:
