Artrahmen offers a comprehensive range of frames and framing work. Each frame is created in our own workshop and is carefully adapted to the respective motif. The following services provide an insight into the possibilities.

Custom-made frames form the basis of many frames. The workshop offers a large selection of wooden frames in different depths, colors and structures. Some profiles appear modern and understated, others traditional and warm. Aluminum frames are particularly suitable for graphic works, photographs or modern prints.
The individual production creates a frame that fits the motif exactly and reliably supports it. The proportions are carefully coordinated so that the frame and picture are visually balanced.
Framing: Care, Technology and Design
A frame consists of several careful steps. First, the picture is aligned, smoothed and provided with a suitable back protection. Then the dust-free assembly takes place. On request, conservational materials can be used, such as acid-free cardboard, age-resistant adhesives or special fixings.
This type of framing is particularly suitable for works on paper, graphic works, watercolors and historical motifs. It ensures that the picture remains protected in the long term.
Stretcher Frames and Canvas Stretching: Stable Foundations for Canvases
Canvas work must be evenly stretched to maintain a smooth surface. Artrahmen manufactures stretcher frames in various profiles and thicknesses, which are suitable for both small works and large-format canvases.
The workshop advises on types of wood, depths and profile widths so that the canvas comes into its own in the desired way.
Shadow Gap Frames: Open and Modern Presentation for Canvases
Shadow gap frames give canvas work a particularly elegant and modern effect. The surrounding gap ensures that the canvas appears to float. This frame is suitable for simple abstract motifs as well as for color-intensive works that need space to work.

Passe-partouts contribute significantly to the effect of a picture. They create distance, emphasize the motif and ensure calm. Artrahmen cuts passe-partouts to the millimeter and offers different colors and thicknesses.
Particularly popular variants in Tiergarten are light natural tones, fine gray tones and soft cream tones.
Gallery Rails and Flexible Hanging Systems
Gallery rails are ideal for people who regularly change pictures or want to design entire wall surfaces. They enable a flexible change without burdening the room with new drill holes. The systems are inconspicuous and stable and are well suited for modern living rooms or work areas.

Optium® Acrylic
