The following overview shows the entire spectrum of work that Artrahmen offers in its own workshop. All frames and framing are carefully manufactured and precisely adapted to the respective work of art.
Custom-made frames
Artrahmen manufactures individual wood and aluminum frames in numerous profiles, colors and depths. The selection ranges from restrained, elegant strips to striking profiles that give larger pictures presence. The production takes place entirely in our own workshop, which means that special sizes and individual requests can be easily realized.
Framing
The framing includes the entire design and technical preparation of a picture. This includes the selection of a suitable frame, the combination with a passe-partout and the decision for suitable glazing. Each work is framed dust-free and protected for conservation purposes on request.
Canvas Frames and Canvas Stretching
Paintings and canvas prints are stretched onto high-quality canvas frames. These frames are stable and can be re-tensioned later thanks to their construction. The workshop manufactures canvas frames in any desired format and advises on suitable strengths and profiles.
Shadow Gap Frames
Shadow gap frames are suitable for canvases and modern paintings, giving the picture visual space. The surrounding gap creates a clear distance that emphasizes the contour of the picture. Artrahmen offers various models, colors and depths so that the frame blends harmoniously into the room.
Object Framing
Three-dimensional mementos or special objects require special framing. The workshop develops individual solutions for this purpose, which permanently protect depth, distance and material. Artrahmen often frames fabrics, jerseys, small objects, collectibles or objects with personal value. Each object frame is constructed to be stable and tailored to the presentation goal.
Handicraft Frames
Embroideries, textile work and delicate fabrics require special treatment. Artrahmen offers special handicraft frames for this purpose, which gently hold the fabric and at the same time enable a calm and high-quality presentation.
Large Formats and Special Sizes
Large-format pictures or unusual formats are not a problem. Particularly large frames can also be manufactured in the workshop. The construction is carried out in such a way that the result remains permanently stable and yet appears light.
Custom-made Passe-Partouts
Passe-partouts give a picture peace and depth and are indispensable for many framing projects. Artrahmen cuts passe-partouts individually and offers a large selection of colors, cardboard thicknesses and qualities. Especially for graphics, photographs and drawings, a suitable passe-partout significantly improves the overall effect.
Gallery Rails and Hanging Systems
Artrahmen offers various hanging systems for living rooms, stairwells, practices or offices. Gallery rails enable a flexible design of the walls and are suitable for individual works as well as for extensive collections. The workshop advises on the appropriate design and, on request, takes over the assembly.
Glazing for Every Requirement
Good glass protects the picture and influences its effect. Artrahmen offers several variants that make sense depending on the motif and lighting conditions.
Anti-reflective Glass
This type of glass reduces reflections and ensures that the picture remains clearly visible even in bright rooms.
Non Reflection Glass
Non Reflection Glass creates a particularly soft surface and has an almost matt effect. This makes pictures appear clearer and less disturbed by window reflections or lamp light.
Museum Glass
Museum glass combines optimal anti-reflection with a very high level of UV protection. It is particularly suitable for valuable works and art on paper, as the colors are protected in the long term.
